April Timeline

I was born and raised in Titusville! But Moved to NYC, have been there for the past 15+ years. I moved back here with my Mom after our wedding since I had to wait on my passport and subletting out my apartment to cut down on costs. It's been nice to have the 98 degree weather, but I'm excited about the milder climate in London.

I lived in Orlando for like 10 years. I moved back to Citrus County about 2 years ago, and it was meant to be temporary but then I met my husband and it didn't make sense to go move again.

I'm going to Aberdeen. I hate the sun but I'm gonna miss the humid heat.

We have lived in beautiful St. Augustine, Florida for the past 17 years, before that the Bay Area of California.  I was born in Jacksonville, and I'm now staying with ex wife 2 in Ponte Vedra Beach.  We all took crap from hurricane Matthew this past October.  I'm looking forward to escaping hurricane season and I will NOT miss the heat.  I'm wilted these days.

John is from Blackpool originally, (well, somebody has to be from Blackpool).  His family is in St. Anne's, Leyland, Fleetwood, and Chorley.  After visiting around, we have chosen Garstang as our new home.  Kind of central to everybody, but a lovely village and we love hiking in the Forest of Bowland which is not only close by, but visible.

PS I hope all of y'all that are waiting are in better shape then me, and to those still waiting. I feel you, hope you receive your email soon, but let me tell you the three days of waiting on the shipping is much worse.

As someone who is 25 days in with a straightforward application---I can assure you that I would much rather be on your side of things.

I wish I had a crystal ball! There's a big chance it's a refusal...so do I want to wait 5 months for a NO? Or risk $700 that they may not honor or for a no?

I will try and hold off until 30 business days are gone but I'm freaking out! I refresh this forum and email ALL day!

Also, this is just me, but I would 100% risk the $700. I would pay an insane amount of money just to hear tomorrow haha. It is worth it in my eyes.

Ah, man, if I've figured out anything about this particular torture, it's that you can't read anything in to it.  This week has been crazy and the order seems to have no rhyme or reason.  I was actually shocked when my email came today, I really wasn't expecting it.  You've always felt your case was somewhat complicated, so I can imagine your examiner discussing your case with a superior.  I have a gut feeling you'll either hear tomorrow or early next week.  You've been one of the most encouraging of people here for me and I hope our friendship will continue.

P.S.  I keep re-reading the two emails I received today.  One was the decision made email, and the other the shipping email with tracking number.  I keep looking at them to make sure I didn't just dream it.  I have dreamed on multiple occasions that the email arrived, only to discover it hadn't.

I seriously can't wait to hear that you've blown this popsicle stand and are preparing for a life of luxury with your boat.

Let's hope your gut feeling is right! Hope my wife and I will be able to meet up with you on the other side of the pond. We talk about you so often that it feels as if we've met. <3

I didn't include the right bank statement for the last month, didn't include any correspondence to show we've been in touch while apart (we've been married 10 years and this is the first time we've ever lived apart!), AND applied a day before his 6 months at work would be complete. REALLY set myself up.

My sis-in-law's getting married in August, looks like I'm going to miss it, I was joking about it with her forever...oops!

Very cool! I'll be wayyy far away in Glasgow so we'd be more likely to meet here! Although not that likely as I have 3 kids on my own right now driving me nuts. I do most of my drinking in front of Netflix at 8:30 pm!

 

Haha I'll be in Glasgow as well!...however I have no kids, and yet i love my wine with my netflix haha!
