I seriously can't wait to hear that you've blown this popsicle stand and are preparing for a life of luxury with your boat. :D

Let's hope your gut feeling is right! Hope my wife and I will be able to meet up with you on the other side of the pond. We talk about you so often that it feels as if we've met. <3

First of all, living in a narrowboat is similar to living in an r.v.  Not really a life of luxury, but it suits us.

Second of all, before I found out it was your wife posting, she made a comment to something I posted and mentioned the bs that was my refusal.  I remember thinking, "who is that? and why are they talking with some knowledge of my refusal?"  Then I read later that it was your wife.  Made me laugh.

I have to tell you my reaction this morning.  I woke, checked my email.  Nothing.  Watched something on tv and went back to sleep.  When I woke again, I checked again, and there were both emails.  Aha.  I calmly got up, got dressed, went into the kitchen and made coffee.  Sat down with a cup, lit a cigarette and only then read the email.  I didn't even get excited till I called my husband.

Yeah, sorry I tend to do a lot of lurking. AV thought I was a stalker when I first commented on her posts

Weekends usually no, but with a backlog, some do come in on bank holidays.

They definitely work weekends and bank holidays.  We just don't tell you guys as you need a break on the weekend from refreshing your emails.   ;D

Eh, any life with your beloved is luxury. <3 And well-deserved.

DL knew who you were because we were both ready to go to UKVI and kick some backsides for you. If only we could!

Well another week has passed. Today makes 7 1/2 weeks (34 working days) with Priority and no previous refusals, no criminal history and a British husband and son. They are both in the UK. And, our 14th wedding anniversary is in 5 days.

But, the worst part is FaceTiming with my son as he begs for me. I'm missing them so much. ...  So much for Priority.

Well...

Today was the day. I received my decision email! 26 business days if I didn't miscount.
Unfortunately, I'm leaving for Ohio for 2 weeks on Sunday so there is no way I will be here to receive my documents which is a huge bummer! I'm going to have my grandma come over to wait for it.

Alternately, has anyone picked it up instead? Can anyone pick it up for you or do you have to do it yourself? Just trying to figure out the easiest way. Any suggestions appreciated!

I appreciate everyone on this forum, I am so happy for everyone who has received their emails/approvals. For everyone who is still waiting, hang in there. It will come.

Congrats on the decision being made!!

My wife is also unable to collect hers, so it is being delivered to her sister for her to sign and collect. As far as I know this isn't an issue, just like with any other package; it's a standard delivery label and signing procedure I believe.

I wish you all the best in it being an approval!
