;) You are too wise, KFDancer!!

The UPS guy at the center opened it for me, and then I shouted out "THANK F***" and proceeded to apologize after, but both the employees were just grinning and totally delighted!

I laughed so hard at this because it sounds so much like something I would do. CONGRATS!!!

I also managed to book a flight leaving in 6 hours -- I will see my husband tomorrow morning!!!! Ahhhh. You guys are right, once you get the passport, it's as if the waking nightmare of the previous month vanishes completely from memory...

Love this!  Fabulous and you are out of there.

We'll see you in 30 months for your renewal.    ;)  ;D

When I got my first letter (refusal) and documents back, I had put up like 6 signs letting the UPS guy know we were home and the doorbell wasn't working...I also left the main door open - storm door closed...and just walked around the foyer all day. Then I heard someone so I ran out to see the UPS  guy walking away and my package on the front stoop.

It's like he knew. Ha.

But yeah, I don't know why but the UPS guy didn't even get a signature from me!

I think 99% of members on this site have had UPS just leave the package on the doorstep. Real secure!

I'm a little bit worried about the 'signature required' part of delivery. I had it sent to my parent's house, but they are out of town. I was hoping a family member could go pick it up from the house, but I don't know. Is it possible for them to leave it without getting a signature?

As mentioned in the post above, although a signature is supposed to be required, almost no one has actually had to sign for their documents... UPS usually just leave it on the doorstep!

Ahh that's a relief.

Mine will be here by Monday evening - super quick! I'm so anxious.

I had a couple minor traffic offenses but listing them as 'criminal' offenses made me nervous and I hope they're not grounds for refusal!
