It's my day! Got my decision and dispatch emails today guys!!!! So happy 😊 👏🏼🤞🏼😊

They used my biometric photo. They returned all of the passport pictures I had sent in. I was kind of mad at that. I looked really good in the passport photo too

Yeah, my photo is also from biometrics -- they returned the expensive, difficult-to-find UK-sized passport photos I sent in. :-|

And just a note on picking up the BRP -- UKVI lists a date the BRP will be ready for pick-up, but that date is it seems often arbitrary and inaccurate. Mine was listed as being ready June 3, and it's not ready today -- it seems the post office receives weekly shipments of BRPs, so if you can, try to call before you go in to see if it's ready, rather than wasting time queueing like I did. When I showed the postal worker my letter and she saw the date, she rolled her eyes and laughed and said they are "never right." Just thought I would share.

Now that is good to know. I was going to stop by on my way from the airport....still probably will because I'm anxious to get it, but I'll prepare mentally if it's not there.

Very quiet in the April room now, was very exciting there for a week or so.. Im currently still waiting though week seven and currently on working day 32, gotta be soon I think the longest wait so far is 36 working days?  must admit to getting very impatient now

I was so excited on 30th May when the enquirey centre said a decision had been made already.. they have since recanted that and said they dont know why I was told that because its still marked as "open" - what ever that means ... its been "open" since may 30th .. think were in the same pile on someones desk who decided to go on holiday for a month!

Haha. Yep. I rang on Monday and they were like it hasn't been seen yet.  The guy was at least nice.

Just out of curioisty Missizz, was yours straightforward, no prior refusals/criminal records etc?

Struggling to understand why these are taking so long when may applicats have gotten answers official notifications and visas already
