I'm sick of everyday passing now in disappointment. Think I'm going to pay the fee and just call them to try and find out what's happening. It's just been to long now I feel like something's gone wrong in my application process  :-\\\\

Don't know if it makes you feel any better, but you're not alone - misery loves company and all that. Just gotta hope they get round to us sooner rather than later.

Just got of the phone then. A nice guy said he can see my application is in processing stage and decision hasn't been made yet. He escalated my case but he said that can take 15 days to get contacted by them. He seemed shocked that i paid priority but he did say there was a lot of applications and that every application has different circumstances that can take longer. So really not much i can do but wait  :-\\\\

Glad you at least got confirmation that it is being processed and now escalated. As others say here, the process is hard to fathom - and I read elsewhere on the threads that they skip over people to improve the stats?! Surely it must be possible to hold the HO to account on this? Surely unless there is a reasonable explanation of why an application is taking longer, people who are apparently skipped over should get priority fee refunded (once visa is safely in hand) There has to be some kind of accountability in this system doesn't there?!

We finally broke down and spent the money to call them yesterday, complete waste of time, just stock answers as if being read from a script, in can take up to 120 days, no guaranteed processing time for Priority bla, bla.

It felt like an answering service and low and behold when i dug a little deeper this morning I discovered that is exactly what it is.

Got my decision email today.
Now the wait to see if it was approved.

38 business days, 3 escalation requests, 9 enquiry line calls later (however I will say, the new company has WAAAAY better reps on the other end).

Great news!  Will the wedding be able to go forward as planned?

Also, just a curiosity question, do you think your app was treated as priority in the end?  I'm not convinced it was...  I'd need to study the non-priority timelines a bit harder.

So. the last 3 times I called the enquiry line, they were very confused that i hadn't heard and had priority. Each time they found out they filled out a new escalation request on their end.

So I thought (even though I got a confirmation email that my application was moved to the priority line.. that somehow it wasn't marked well.. or was put back)... So on Friday I sent the priority receipt AGAIN to the email they suggested in April... hoping someone would see it and check on it.
My fiance and I both think that it somehow wasn't treated as priority. Our application was pretty straight forward, we had all the documentation, and so on and they contacted no one.
So either it was treated as non priority.. or after it hit the 30 day mark they werent as concerned with it.
