I will be in Sheffield in July for the best part of a week, and intend to go to Taco Bell at least once a day!  ;D

Only once?  :D

There are about 3 or 4 taco bells in Essex, but I normally dont like venturing into that particular county. There's plenty of Chipotle's and Five Guys in London.

The 4.5 week timeline for priority seems about right for March. Just have to remember with Easter, they had a lot of bank holidays. I'm seeing people get decisions in around 22 working days. If processing times are still similar, I'm hoping to hear back around May 18th or the following week, and if all goes well, be in the UK by the end of May to catch the Crystal Palace Beer Festival!

Ugh, that's right. Plus the two bank holidays in May.

Anyone else having problems with website for visa processing times? I keep getting 'website not available'

It is working for me, but my browser flags it as a 'not secure' website for some reason. Maybe try different device or browser.

I am from California and Mexican food is what I've missed the most while loving in Europe the past 5 years! It's always the first meal I try to eat when I get back to the states (Taco Bell if nothing else) - that or In-n-Out by LAX!

Happy Cinco de Mayo  :)

Yep my Texan wife feels exactly the same about the Mexican food. I'm a bit less classy, I miss In'n'Out burger and Taco Bell the most (we have some taco bells in UK but none anywhere near me).

I just changed my settings -- seems that same error was blocking the page. Thanks!

Wish they'd update processing times. It still shows Feb 2017. They received our 5 applications April 25th. In Feb non-priority application decisions were back 83% in 3 days, 91% in 5 days, 99 in 10 days.

We're 9 business days in. Does having 5 members in our family slow responses down do you think?

Yeah, they're being really slow with updating the processing times - we got stats for November 2016, then nothing until they posted the February 2017 ones a few weeks ago.

Just to note that those stats are for ALL applications though - both priority and non-priority. They don't separate out the different processing times.

It shouldn't do - almost the entire processing time is your application sitting in line waiting for someone to pick it up.

Once it is on the ECO's desk, as long as all the documents are there and they don't have to request more, it only takes 1-2 hours to make a decision.

Wow. That's actually pretty quick processing once it's on their desk. It's crunch time for us as the company determined final moving date and start date a month ago, but didn't get us a CoS until the day I applied (April 19.) I had application mailed April 24th, the date of Biometrics.

In the meantime, in early April the company set up consultants for housing /schooling interviews and appointments for May 15-19 based on PwC recommendations .... and I am nervous. I realize this type of visa is fast in comparison, but we're cutting it so close.

My kids and I made a run for the border just today. Mmmm bean burritos 🌯. Mexican food is my fave too. I did see a lot of old El Paso dinner kits last time I was in Morrisons so I am hoping they are the same and I can make my own ;)

I'm only 2 weeks into my wait so crossing my fingers for the early birds in here.

Dude, kfdancer is not kidding. I have a whole list of US stuff I'm bringing back. Least of all, lemon Oreos as those are my husband's guilty pleasure; and we, for the life of us, haven't found any in the UK.

If you like to use colored sugar to decorate cookies, bring that, too.

We went to about six stores at Christmas time AND looked online because sprinkling colored sugar on roll-out cookies is a cherished Christmas tradition for me. We resorted to dyeing our own granulated sugar, but it didn't work that well.

They have coloured sugar for decorating but it's not the same bright colours you'll be used to or the same fine-ness. They don't allow artificial colours over here so everything is natural and there for more pastel.

Cookie decorating is big for my family too.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.
