Keep having dreams that I check my email and they are either requesting more documents OR that they have made a decision.
I am always disappointed when I wake up ::)

Every few minutes, I am checking my email and this threads for some updates on the April applications. Still have hope some early April applicants will get a response this week!

Me too haha. I am irrationally upset at the fact that someone signed for my package on Monday and I still haven't gotten an email confirmation yet. It gives me nightmares  :P

Same! I keep checking my email and the forums I follow hoping to hear SOMETHING. I really thought that I would hear something this week, but it's looking less and less likely

DECISION MADE!!!!

Country applying from: USA
Type of visa applied for: Spousal Settlement Visa (Priority)
Date application submitted (online): 24/03/2017 (24th March)
Date biometrics taken: 28/03/2017
Date documentation was received by UK Border Agency office: 05/04/2017 (5th April)
Office location processing your visa: Sheffield, UK
Projected timeline given: 12 weeks
Decision made e-mail: 10/05/2017 (10th May)
Date your visa was received: Currently in transit - expected 12th May

Fingers crossed it comes back approved!!!

Posted this in the march timeline too by accident.

Draw strength from this my fellow visa applicants. Decisions are getting made! It looks like priority is hitting decision time about 22 working days ahead of the application getting received. Our case was as clean and straightforward as it can get. No prior visa refusals, no criminal record stuff to declare, very simple 6 months payslips for financial requirement assessment etc so if you are still waiting don't worry chances are you'll hear very soon or yours needs a little more time to assess!

Your decision is coming!!! Stay strong and hang in there, the best things in life are usually the hardest to get, this is life's test. You do not know it yet, but there is a date, at some point down the line, already set when you eventually receive that decision made e-mail. Each day that goes by is a day closer to that decision-made e-mail day. Keep going, I am praying for all of you, I would not wish this pain on any one.

One thing I would say is that they did not call up my employer to check if I worked at the company. I work in a relatively small company, open plan office with about 12 people in it, all very close. They would have told me if someone from UKVI called.

Should I read anything in to this? I provided a lot of evidence of my employment.

Nope.  It's rare for them to contact your employer.   :)

I've never heard of UKVI contacting an employer before, so there's nothing to read into.

It's your responsibility to provide the sufficient evidence to prove you work there... they won't chase up the employer to check. They just need to be able to look at your documents, see the job contract, payslips, employer letter and job contract, and then tick a box to say you meet the financial requirement.
