Decisions for priority are being made in about 22 working days from the date the application was received by Sheffield. Im about a week ahead of you. You should hear around the beginning of June/ end of May hopefully!

I hope that timeline holds -- if it does, I should hear around May 25, with a week left in the month. I have to move out end May, so I'm getting pretty anxious I will be moving out without my application being received...
Met UK 30/05/2016
Married US 03/03/2017
Applied spouse visa 17/04/2017
Decision 31/05/2017
**Visa Approved**

Hooray! Glad we have an answer coming soon for you. :D

But, yikes. March 24? I was a month after that. I'm going to be waiting for a while...let's hope we get others with answers soon.

That was when the online app was done.  Not in Sheffield until April 5. (Just 3 working days before mine)

DECISION MADE!!!!

Country applying from: USA
Type of visa applied for: Spousal Settlement Visa (Priority)
Date application submitted (online): 24/03/2017 (24th March)
Date biometrics taken: 28/03/2017
Date documentation was received by UK Border Agency office: 05/04/2017 (5th April)
Office location processing your visa: Sheffield, UK
Projected timeline given: 12 weeks
Decision made e-mail: 10/05/2017 (10th May)
Date your visa was received: Currently in transit - expected 12th May

Fingers crossed it comes back approved!!!

Posted this in the march timeline too by accident.

Draw strength from this my fellow visa applicants. Decisions are getting made! It looks like priority is hitting decision time about 22 working days ahead of the application getting received. Our case was as clean and straightforward as it can get. No prior visa refusals, no criminal record stuff to declare, very simple 6 months payslips for financial requirement assessment etc so if you are still waiting don't worry chances are you'll hear very soon or yours needs a little more time to assess!

Your decision is coming!!! Stay strong and hang in there, the best things in life are usually the hardest to get, this is life's test. You do not know it yet, but there is a date, at some point down the line, already set when you eventually receive that decision made e-mail. Each day that goes by is a day closer to that decision-made e-mail day. Keep going, I am praying for all of you, I would not wish this pain on any one.
Congratulations!!!

I got a decision email!

Arrived in Sheffield: April 6th
Email confirmation: April 7th
Decision made: May 11th

The UPS tracking ID still does not have a delivery date set, but I should get my passport back in plenty of time to make my June 2nd wedding in Derbyshire (legally married in NYC in March)!

I'm still nervous about the outcome since we did not have certified bank statements or my husband's landlord's explicit permission for me to live in the house (we did have other homeowners vouch we could move to their place but did not include their house deeds). Otherwise, my application was fairly straight forward.

We only applied for priority last week, so I guess that moved our application in line with the other early April applicants. I was not sure how that would work.

Congratulations!! And if I'm doing my math right, that seems to be about 21 business days from the confirmation e-mail...so there should be lots of action in this board in the next few weeks :D

I wouldn't worry.  UKVI like to keep us guessing.  Sometimes really big items are allowed to go amiss and the application is approved.  Other times the tiniest of details can cause a refusal.  As your application has been approved in the same timeframe as other priority applications, I'm pretty certain it'll be an approval (refusals take longer).

I had no idea where retroactive priority would put us in the decision order. We only upgraded last week, so it looks like it put us in the same spot we would've been had we done it from the beginning. Fingers crossed it works the same for you!
