Hey everybody. It's nice to know we are all In the same boat just rocking back and fourth. Iam an American citizen married to my amazing British husband. I sent my documents April 19th 2017. Had a confirmation email April 24th from Sheffield saying a  clearance officer is preparing to review. Still waiting, granted its only 15 business days. I hope we get an answer soon. Do they tell you by email if your approved or just that is sent off and on the way? Fingers crossed for everybody
Thanks

They send you an email saying "a decision has been made" and you have to wait until you get your documents back to see what the decision is. It's a special kind of torture. Haha

I received my email on Thursday and have barely been able to sleep! The package is out for delivery, so I think I will know within the next few hours. Nerve wrecking.

Almost the close of Business day 24 and still no word. I'm starting to feel nervously anxious, but I really hope to hear something this week.

I got a decision email!

Arrived in Sheffield: April 6th
Email confirmation: April 7th
Decision made: May 11th

The UPS tracking ID still does not have a delivery date set, but I should get my passport back in plenty of time to make my June 2nd wedding in Derbyshire (legally married in NYC in March)!

I'm still nervous about the outcome since we did not have certified bank statements or my husband's landlord's explicit permission for me to live in the house (we did have other homeowners vouch we could move to their place but did not include their house deeds). Otherwise, my application was fairly straight forward.

We only applied for priority last week, so I guess that moved our application in line with the other early April applicants. I was not sure how that would work.

Just got my APPROVED letter in the mail!!!!!

THANK YOU to everyone in this group! You all have been incredibly supportive and informative. You are the only people that understand what this is like.
