YES GIRL! I needed this. Do you count the days from application submitted or biometrics or confirmation email??

We should have a running post of confirmed decisions!

Date from confirmation email from Sheffield.

Lol!!! I just added to it, so we can keep track like it's sports or something:

jtizzle, applied 5 April, decision 10 May -- 22 business days
antoniaallegra, applied 7 April, decision 11 May -- 21 business days
TexanAlways, applied 6 April, decision 16 May -- 26 business days
JacquelineHyde, applied 5 April, decision 12 May -- 24 business days

hayleeonfire, applied 18 April, decision
anxiousandwaiting, applied 18 April, decision

AV, applied 24 April, decision
hawkphx, applied 26 April, decision
kateaz04, applied 26 April, decision

I am counting the day the poster said Sheffield sent them a confirmation e-mail -- and my business day counting should be accurate -- accounting for holidays etc. I am basically done with my semester (I teach/study), and am waiting to join my husband...so this is how I'm passing my time  :D

Update:

I looked it up, and what I described is called "UPS: Request Delivery Intercept" ( https://www.ups.com/deliveryintercept ). Basically, it is what I described. You can do the following:

-Deliver to Another Address: Reroute the package to a new address
-Reschedule Delivery: Hold the package for delivery on a future date
-Will Call: Hold the package for pickup by the consignee

However, it also seems like it is linked to a MyUPS account, which I know some people created when they chose to mail their visa through UPS as opposed to VFS.

I don't know if this service would be available with the VFS service. It might be worth it to call and find out?

Okay I went to my local UPS and they gave me a phone number to call once it's actually in transit to request the change of address (just thinking I'll have it be sent to a friend's house). They also said I could call VFS but I don't know how I would even contact them...

From the VFS website:
Quote
Can I change my address for delivery once the UPS Shipping Label has been generated?

No, once the address is confirmed on our system while updating the “Address of Applicant” details the address cannot be changed or altered at any point.

In case you move or are not available at your mentioned mailing address, you can call UPS customer service at 1-800-742-5877 and request for the change once your package has been shipped from UK Visa and Immigration Office. Please be advised that UPS may charge an additional fee for any changes.

That's the same number UPS gave me. So I guess I'll just wait until I get the decision email from Sheffield and then call UPS. Thanks for your help guys :)

As far as I know, this is just priority apps, but I might have included people who didn't specify non-priority!

I could be wrong, but I believe there is another thread for non-priority applications.

Yeah, this is a list of priority applications, so I put in your priority application confirmation. I wasn't sure where to put you in the list, since as you said, it's a slightly special situation. :)

yes I did apply for priority a week after submission.
However, antoniaallegra only applied for priority a week or two BEFORE she got an answer. And it didn't hinder the time.

THANK YOU!! This is super helpful.

Thank you also to Alyssa for info about UPS. I'm going to wait until/if we get notice from Sheffield about the package. I'm out of town for 4 days next week, and Murphy says that's when the visa will arrive. (If only!!!) A look at our timeline suggests I have a bit to wait, but you never know.

I mean, nothing is implied about timing, here -- it's just a list to keep track of the business days.

AV, hoping the timing works out for you! As it is for me, I think the timing would only work out if it took 30+ working days. But as long as I can reroute to a friend's, I'm good! They said they'd open it for me and send me the news so I can book my flight from my vacation.
