Do they? I was told that the reason my first application only took 3.5 weeks was because I was missing documentation and it was refused. Congrats to everyone who heard back today! Hopefully the early March people are coming up soon!

No, that was actually a slow processing time... it took 3.5 weeks because it was delayed due to your missing documents.

Back when you applied, approvals were taking 1-2 weeks and refusals 3-4 weeks.

If you hadn't missed the documents you would have likely got the visa in about 1 week.

I got my decision email!!!!!!!

But I'm absolutely terrified it's been rejected :(

Ugh, I know. I found this the worst part of the wait. Luckily, it's the shortest too.
All the best.  :)

Thanks everyone, this forum is honestly the best. I would've gone crazy without it.

Now I've turned to refreshing my UPS tracking page haha which hasn't been updated yet :( I think I may be slightly obsessive..

Hi Kathwill60, welcome!  ;D  Yes, a few of the late Feb applicants have just got their visas so hopefully you won't have much longer to wait!   :)

If you start reading the thread backwards, you'll run into them right away.  :)

Thanks for the welcome.  I should have found this group earlier.  I've read back and am happy to hear that decision emails are starting to come.  I'll keep the group posted when we hear.  I've got my fingers crossed for everyone :)

At long last!!!  We applied around the same time and I've been checking in on you, hoping your wait wouldn't be so long.  I'm glad there's a light at the end of the (long) tunnel for you.  Here's hoping for an approval AND that you have a visa in hand by the weekend!

Glad you found us and better late than never.  :) You'll have plenty of company now for your hopefully short remaining wait!  :)

Does anyone know if the temporary visa (vignette) is valid for 30 business days (6 weeks)?  Or if it starts on June 6th you have to activate it by July 6 in the UK?

30 calendar days. 4 weeks and change.

Also, you don't activate the vignette as such, you use it for your initial entry into the UK. Once you are in, you have 10 days to pick up your BRP from the Post Office.
