We are also on the Feb 27 crew. However, we sent everything in one package (Appendix 2) so only have received one email on the 27th that it is being processed. Did we *bleep* up big time?
No, you're only supposed to receive one email confirming they have your application and then you should get a second email when they have made a decision.
You also HAVE to send everything in one package, so from what you've said, you have done everything exactly how you were supposed to.
They cannot start processing the application unless you have sent the Appendix 2 in your package, so that's why people are receiving extra emails requesting it. UKVI are being nice here, because they don't have to ask for it - they could just refuse the application for being incomplete.
