One last question, would I need to fill out a sponsorship undertaking form (SU07) due to my wife basically being a house wife with me supporting her entirely?

It does talk about medical issues as to a reason for needing your sponsor to pay but I'm not sure of the exact purpose of this form.

I will be heading back to Minnesota tomorrow to file with my wife next week. We have everything on the list or will have it when I get there, so hopefully everything goes well

Nope. The sponsorship undertaking form does not apply to spousal visas.

It is only for exceptional circumstances visas, such as adult dependant relatives and elderly dependant relatives.

In those cases, the applicant is either an elderly parent or an adult child who is incapable of taking care of themselves and has no living relatives in their home country who can care for them and no access to assisted care in their home country either, and therefore they HAVE to move to the UK to be taken care of by the UK sponsor otherwise they will not survive.

Is there any way of sending in a separate envelope of supporting documents separately, but within the 5 days of the biometrics? We would obviously put down the name and case number with this separate information.

I have had issues getting paperwork from the doctors she has seen showing her visits being that she is not there in person.

No, unfortunately not. All documents must arrive at the same time, in the same package. Documents sent separately will not be considered.

What she could do is overnight the package to you, then you can add the letters and forward the package on to Sheffield.

So it won't matter if the package has been sent from within the U.K.?

It shouldn't do - several people have done it this way before.

The important thing is that everything arrives together in the same package.

Please, please wait until you have ALL of the paperwork before sending your package. This is too expensive and too long of a wait to hurry!

When you say that you can do a walk in for the biometrics, do you mean literally show up and let them know what you're there for? Or do you still have to call ahead of time or make an appointment sooner somehow. I cannot get an appointment this week. Only next week.

We will have all of our paperwork before it is sent. I understand that we should have one piece of evidence for every part or event that they will look at.
