Raining tacos
« on: May 04, 2017, 11:07:54 PM »
I have no idea where our daughter got this song but recently she's been singing " it's raining tacos out of the sky, it's raining tacos don't ask why. Just step outside and open wide... it's raining tacos!!!"

I just thought it was funny. I've never made her tacos, she's never eaten them. But if it was really raining tacos I would probably be outside with buckets I miss Mexican food

I would be in effing HEAVEN if it were raining tacos! I could eat Mexican food every day and not complain! haha Had a Raspberry Lemonade Margarita yesterday in honour of the 5th of Ma (but I had only realised what day it was after I had already planned pizza for dinner... oops.)

I made tacos for dinner the other night (like you, I adore Mexican food!) and told my husband to come in the kitchen and put his together. There was a slight awkward pause and he said really sheepishly, "I've never made a taco before... do I put the meat in first?"

What do people in this country eat???  :o :o :o ??? ;D

hahah I thought it my friend was joking when he said he had never had a taco before! I was like "sweet joke, bro!" but when it became apart he was serious I was like ...NO WAY! YOU HAVE TO GET ON THAT!! He loves them now! haha Has introduced his girlfriend to them as well! :)

Shocking to me to think there were people that had NEVER TRIED A TACO (as far as US/UK/Canada is concerned at least hah)

My family won't touch them, they think Mexican is disgusting. Fine more for me

At work, my desk is right next to the flimsy wall that separates the kitchenette from the office space.  There's a microwave there, and I can always smell the food (usually something bloody awful)... me and my colleague Donald always try to guess what's cooking from the smell.

Today...I could swear it was refried beans!  I can't think of anyone in the place who would eat that (apart from me!), but oh, the lovely aroma!  I was on the phone so couldn't go investigate.  :(

I had tacos for dinner.  Yummmm

We had a local expat meetup for Cinco de Mayo at the weekend and the food was UNREAL.  Seriously, we think all of our meetups should be Mexican theme.   ;)

Yup.  Girl, you missed out!  Margaritas, enchiladas, fajitas, real guacamole, 7 layer dip, Taco Bell crunch supreme wraps, and on and on and on.  I wanna do it again every weekend.
