I got my decision email!!! FINALLY!!! Best part about it is that my fiance decided to come to Oklahoma to visit since we haven't seen each other in over 3 months, and he has a break from work since he's a teacher. I picked him up in Dallas on Monday, then we got the email today!! I'm going to start calling him my lucky charm!

I'm a little concerned because I thought they would ask me for my fiancés bank statements because I didn't get the officials from the bank... but they didn't!! I checked my bank account and the health care surcharge hasn't been put back into my account... so thats new news right?!?! Fingers crossed!!! so extremely nervous/happy/sad/every emotion I could possibly feel.

Fantastic news! I've also been worrying about the bank statements thing so good to hear. Incidentally, I spoke to a friend going through the same thing as us at the weekend. She said when she spoke to an immigration lawyer they said it didn't matter if the bank statements were originals or not.

The guidance gives VERY clear instructions on the bank statements.  While UKVI may choose to let it slide from time to time, we always advise following the written guidance.   :)

Yep, our bad. Still I'm hoping that they've got enough to prove the financial requirement. I'm self-employed so included accounts certified by a registered accountant, tax returns, etc. and a letter from my current publisher on headed paper setting out details of upcoming work for the next 5+ years. Fingers (and toes) crossed.

Honestly, most of the time print outs look identical to what's received in the post!

Would it be possible to add us to the non-priority spreadsheet? (GoldenStateCate / DRichW)? We got the 'docs received' email 25th May. Upgraded to priority 30th June but no acknowledgement, so looks like they haven't honoured it.

Decided!!!! And my husband called immigration in Jersey, Channel Islands, and they told him that it has been approved!!!!

If it hadn't been for this forum, I would not have encouraged him to call. He's so British and didn't want to bother them.

I'm having a hard time processing that this is really happening.

No sign of activiy on UPS tracking. You all know what I'll be doing this morning. Fingers crossed I get my passport back within a week, so I can attend a wedding in Croatia???

Here's my update for the spreadsheet:

Email application received in Sheffield: May 11, 2017
UKVI tracker updated: July 27, 2017 (though the date on the tracker reads July 25)
Email  confirmation:
Visa received:

Thank you all so much for the support. I'll keep you posted!

Can anyone who's applied recently clarify if they applied for a spouse visa or a fiancé visa, and if you've applied with dependents or not?

I'm really interested to see if that is the case for the difference in processing times

That doesn't affect processing (been tracking them for five years).  Sadly it's just crazy unorganised at the moment!   :-\\\\
