they basically said our application had been received in Sheffield (we know, we got the email) and we couldn't do it anymore. This is our second app after being refused so idk if that has something to do with it.

I read another poster went ahead and tried to upgrade but hasn't heard back yet. Makes me nervous.

Mine was already shipped and received too. This does not matter. Call and speak to a supervisor.

Yes, I had no idea if I had been upgraded or not, and no one was getting back to me. But I woke up today with the decision email, so there you go!

It'll be an approval and you will make your flight! I had a pretty tough weekend, but I don't know why I'm feeling super positive all of a sudden.

Hey AmericanMom! You and I are right on the same time frame. My documents got there on May 11th.  So you didn't pay for priority, but you're going to soon?? Im also considering this but didn't know how much of a difference it would make! I haven't looked through the whole string of comments so I've probably missed it, but does it seem that people who are paying extra for priority are getting their visas much quicker??

@getme2england

They aren't necessarily getting them "sooner". Most upgrades are still getting their visas within the time frame of a normal priority visa. If you and AmericanMom upgraded today for example, you would probably be on track with people who are priority in May, which is about a five week wait.

So, I just broke down and called the call center, who look into my case and said a decision actually had been made on Friday! I'm very relieved about this but I haven't gotten an email or my UPS tracking hasn't been updated!

Oh for once, I hope the call centre actually knows what they're talking about cause that would be fantastic!

And I wouldn't worry about either of those things because others have said that they didn't get updates on tracking/emails for 24 hours or more.

Yeah, I haven't gotten any updates on tracking, and I distinctly remember at least two people who said theirs didn't update until after 24 hours.

Thanks guys! I am just so relieved a decision actually has been made! It is been such a ridiculously long time I just can't wait to have it in my hands and see if it's a yes or not! I'm praying my butt off! I'm guessing it will be another 3 days or so before I get it
