Random Question - For those of you that have recently received decision emails and tracking emails.... is the vignette start date around the same time as these or after ?

I want to know this as well. I'd love to be able to be at our friend's wedding this weekend. *sigh* toes crossed

I got mine in July/August. Decision email 26 July (shipping tracker moved the same day), parcel arrived 28 July, vignette valid for 2 August. So a week after the sticker went into the book. Not sure that's a hard and fast rule though.

I got my documents back from Sheffield - so looks like my case has been assigned to an ECO - Rang solicitor this morning and he told me, they came back fairly quickly he said. So atleast that's something.

I think the way it works for applicants from Pakistan is they copy the documents and then send them back, here is hoping for a quick turn around for you too! Atleast you know it’s moving in the right direction :-)

That's it @j2j - reading comments from others saying they've not got their documents back or any communication from Sheffield was slightly worrying, so i was adamant i will call the solicitor today, he calmly was like "oh yeah i have the documents back" i was like, where was the phone call to tell me you've got them back!

I feel alot better now, i don't know why but i'm feeling very giddy and positive about my application. Here's hoping that swiftness is reflected in the processing of my application. I'd be shocked to the inner core if i end up with a decision made email this month! Here's to continuing to dream  ;D

I hate that it looks like if we had waited 4.5 weeks to apply, we'd have had a decision by now. It's BD 62 and 7:30 my time and I still have heard anything. My partner hasn't been able to check his email to see if his MP got back to him yet, if she hasn't he's going to send another email tonight and call at lunch tomorrow.

I haven't had a full nights sleep at all this last week. I keep waking up every few hours to check my email/refresh the forum/see if my documents are moving 🙄

In case anyone is calculating the Business Days for our case, it took exactly 60BDs (it was day 60 on Friday 6th October) from when Sheffield received our docs, we received a decision email today 8th October. Great to see UKVI working on a Sunday! Here is sending all my positive vibes to first and foremost KEIKI, I am rooting for you! MHAIRI8544, NEISHNK, MITCH-9 (pretty sure your email is on its way) ACQUIESCE213 pretty sure yours is too since UKVI is clearly working OT and getting rid of that backlog! ROSECHASSIT hang in there! POLIPHILUS sending you a whole lot of positive energy as both you and KEIKI have waited long enough! And last but not least J4VED, new to the race but you have been so positive and uplifting towards every single person on this forum since you joined and I absolutely cannot wait for you to hear your good news! I can truly understand what you are all going through and I was practically at my breaking point this week. I feel like UKVI pretty much know that by day 60 people will indeed start to crack, and for for those who have waited beyond this, I honestly bow down to your patience! Again sending you all nothing but great things and positivity.

A little late to the party but thank you J2J... a big congrats to  you also and to everyone that has been recently blessed by the Sheffield gods... lol. I am so looking forward to this being a great week, especially for the 100+ club.

It's unbearable at this point.. this ordeal bears on everything... even buying toothpaste... do I have another week or month remaining.. do I get the small or large tube..?? lol

From my understanding the clocks starts ticking from now as they have your file prepared with all your documents. Hoping for a swift turn around for you too!

Just got my package. I was approved, my daughter was not just like I feared. I have a letter addressed to me explaining the brp etc but absolutely nothing explaining her refusal. I don't know what to do now.

Darn. That sucks. There has to be an explanation somewhere... start by tracking it down. I would even suggest involving an immigration lawyer at this point, in case you weren't already.
