 i noticed something this time that i didnt before. when it asks you if you want to take a survey at the end of the call im convinced it will put you through to a different phone line. 

after calling 3 times today and not declining the survey all three times i was put through to someone english.

It could take a few days for them to get back to you.

If you haven't heard anything in a couple of days, I would see if you can get your sponsor's local MP on the case.

No this chic was a tv personality at one point in time which was what he found funny. I googled her and found that she's a strong supporter of immigration not only from the EU but everywhere plus a surprising plethora of what we Americans consider 'liberal' ideas (she a member of the conservative Party). UK politics is so strange to me.

My lovely wife finally got home after a long day at work and FaceTimed whilst she opened the UPS package.... Approved! Vignette start date 11th October - 11th November!!
To say that this has been the most emotionally taxing process is the understatement of the century.

I think she just got a reality check that she’s leaving Manhattan though! Lol

Let me begin by thanking each and every one of you on this forum, for being the best support system anyone could ask for, your advise, words, supportive messages and positivity has made this process bearable and without the forum we would both probably be in pieces.

I will still continue to fight the good fight and have already booked an appointment with my MP to tackle this process on behalf of everyone and if I have to stand outside Downing Street with a sign saying “Sort out UKVI” I will do it!

It’s 1:30am here in London and I can finally get some well earned sleep!

I will always always be available on this forum for any questions, support, advice or just if you need someone to talk to when your feeling anxious.

I had my first real breakdown about my lack of decision today 😂 The next longest wait after me was 72BD then it's all in the hundreds... We're giving it to next Friday before he comes here to visit

In all fairness, I think "useless" applies to 99% of those in government, be it in the UK or US.  And "puppet" about the same.
