Thanks! I ordered some vacuum seal bags for packing and am presently sorting books into bringing and leaving piles (hopefully it's an approval)!

Sure will be an approved visa.  :)

Last night my partner and I started to seriously figure out the details of his visit and our road trip out west, and lo and behold, I woke up this morning to my decision email!
Congratulations - at last!

Oh my goodness! It's on time to be here tomorrow and I am so excited/anxious! Of course I hope it's an approval, but regardless of the decision one of us is buying a plane ticket and that in and of itself is a course of relief

Btw guys, I flew last minute on a one way  ticket with Norwegian and it was really nice and really inexpensive. Like under 400 bucks for the international long haul type of inexpensive. (I flew from Orlando). Super nice plane (787 Dreamliner). Just wanted to throw that out there. We found it through i think Skyscanner. I think their prices drop even more in November. Amongst all the stuff we have to deal with, finding that was nice

Thanx muchly for posting that; I'm finding some better rates than the ones I've been tracking, and I like that it seems to list Aer Lingus flights more often ;0)

Approved!  My vignette us valid from Oct 26th, so we've got a ticket to leave florida the evening of the 25th!

Oh I burst into ugly tears when I saw it, what a relief to finally be done with this bit! Thank you all!

[EDIT] I misread, it's been valid since September 26th and expires Oct 26th haha My husband didn't buy the ticket yet, so we're looking now!
