Apologies for the lack of posts, life takes over now they my lovely wife is here with me. She’s settling in great but hates the british gloomy weather lol!
Then again she’s a New Yorker, at-least we don’t have crazy snow blizzards here lol

After waiting for so long you'd think that I would be sprinting to the airport but nope. Not when Turkey day is almost here. I gotta at least stick around for that

That only applies if you are NOT married to a UK citizen at the time of applying for citizenship.

If you ARE married to a UK citizen, you need this link: https://www.gov.uk/becoming-a-british-citizen/if-your-spouse-is-a-british-citizen

And the requirement is:

- lived in the UK for at least the 3 years before your application is received
- spent no more than 270 days outside the UK during those 3 years
- spent no more than 90 days outside the UK in the last 12 months

Monday: BD81. My wife receives a 'decision made' email
Tuesday: BD82. I get an email from my MP offering to help
Wednesday: BD83 (well now 1am so BD 84?). My wife wakes me up. She's a blubbering mess.

We've been approved!!! She now has to get her ass from 32C LA to 10C London by 24 December     

Oh...Now I have just to sort out her cat!
