Does it help that I have them a DOUBLE double finger salute after my ILR was granted a few months ago?

When do you guys start the clock on business days? The day you submit the online application? Biometrics? Sending in your documents? The docs arriving in Sheffield? I just don't know exactly where I fit in the business day spectrum.

It starts from the documents arriving in Sheffield... usually from the day you get the email from Sheffield stating they have the documents.

My wife got the decision made email on day 81. And she was based in LA! So perhaps not much longer?

Well, we pass another week with no one in this thread having heard anything. This is such a bummer. I was hoping that at least one non priority person would have heard something by now.

Well, my original proposed travel date is this Friday - I guess I foolishly thought that two months from application date might have been enough time to hear back about the visa. I know that if you don't hear back by your proposed travel date, they change the date that the vignette starts.

Just out of curiosity, for those of us who are still waiting to hear - has your proposed travel date already passed?

Yep, my proposed travel date was January 20. I also expected that two months would be plenty of time.

Now my predicament is that I need to move out of my apartment at the end of this month and not only find somewhere for me and my cat to go, but my return shipping label is coming to this apartment. So I guess I'll have to stalk the tracking info and camp out outside of it when someone else is living here.

This process is so frustrating!!! 

My submission dates are in my signature, but I just got the "your case isn't straightforward and we need more time" email today.
