Don’t worry, it shouldn’t be long now.
I would follow up again by email to make sure they have them.

Should I send it to the visa info email or the email address that they told me to send it to originally (it's something like restoftheworld.something.visa)?

I sent one to the visa info email last week and haven't heard anything back (I figured it didn't hurt to send one).

Send it to the email address that they told you to send your information to.  :)

Don't use the paid for email address.

Sent an email off to hopefully prod them a bit!

They emailed me back already (SHOCKING!) and said that they have not received the documentation and that they are in fact still waiting. I wrote them back, told them the dates from the original email, copied the original email, attached the PDF and sent them a screenshot from my sent mail folder showing the original email that I sent to them 8 days ago.

This process is AGONIZING. I don't understand how this can be this hard. I know that I'm preaching to the choir here but JFC.

Seconded!  Sorry they are so incompetent.  It truly is shocking!

You should mention this to the MP who wasn’t willing to help further....

I shouldn't even say the MP, it was the MP's assistant who I dealt with directly. She was wishy washy the entire time, so you know, in the grand scheme of things it wasn't exactly shocking.

Still just sitting here waiting. 99.9% sure that I am now going to miss my mom's trip to Europe as well. Really gotta love UKVI.

We've asked to book a new appointment with the MP since my husband can't go to one of his open surgeries. This is just getting ridiculous.

It does suck. No doubt about it.   Did you get any confirmation finally that they now have your documents, after you re-sent them?

This week has been a major write off inside the UK due to The Beast from the East!

Inverness got the Least from the East! No snow at all, just a little chilly.

Hhahahaahahhahaaaaaaaaa. No. I've sent them an email every day since and there has been no response.

We reached back out to the husband's MP again today and he basically wouldn't get off the phone until they agreed to call UKVI to get confirmation of receipt of the documents. I'm just imagining someone has my application on their desk and they're thinking "Is this woman ever going to send this crap in?". I'm hoping that some pressure from the MP will at least do something but who knows.
