Hhahahaahahhahaaaaaaaaa. No. I've sent them an email every day since and there has been no response.

Yeah, unfortunately it is going to be chaotic next week when everyone is playing catch up. I was hoping that you had heard before the weather rolled in.
I'm very sorry. The good news though is you know that with the information you have provided you're going to get an approval! Try to hang on to that if you can.  :)

I see that someone in the priority thread got an email today, which bodes well to me that they are indeed working! And that the #beastfromtheeast hasn't taken over fully  [smiley=laugh3.gif]

I got a confirmation email that they received the documents. I emailed them the past three days asking and they did finally confirm.

Our MP should also still be calling. Hopefully Sheffield will be so tired of hearing from us that they just push the application through.

Been lurking on here for a while getting lots of useful tips for our application. Finally happy to say it's in Sheffield and out of our hands (for now)!

I can't edit my signature as I'm new around here (I think that's why) but at the moment our timeline is:

Met Husband: January 2014
Got married: 14 November 2017
Online application: 24 February 2018
Biometrics: 27 February 2018
Application mailed: 27February 2018
Application received in Sheffield: 05 March 2018
Application received email:
Decision email received:

From the US, it's about 3 months I think. However, since you are not applying in the US, the non-priority processing times for Tanzania may be completely different.

Fabulous news!

Aaaaand I got a third reply to my requests! They did say in this email "we've already confirmed this twice" but this was also an email that I sent 6 days ago, so no idea. The husband reached out to the MP's office as well just idly curious if they had called already and the response that he got was that the MP "sent him a letter and it should arrive today or tomorrow". I feel like we're going to get scolded or something for asking for help.

My husband's visa was approved! Moving in about 3 weeks -- yikes!

This was our timeline for a straightforward non-priority spousal visa, applying from the US:

Online application: 3 Dec 2017
Biometrics: 8 Dec 2017
Application mailed: 13 Dec 2017
Application received in Sheffield: 15 Dec 2017
Application received email: 18 Dec 2017
Decision email received: 28 Feb 2018
Passport received: 2 March 2018

Less than 3 months, which is pretty good given that it was over the holidays!
