My husband's visa was approved! Moving in about 3 weeks -- yikes!

This was our timeline for a straightforward non-priority spousal visa, applying from the US:

Online application: 3 Dec 2017
Biometrics: 8 Dec 2017
Application mailed: 13 Dec 2017
Application received in Sheffield: 15 Dec 2017
Application received email: 18 Dec 2017
Decision email received: 28 Feb 2018
Passport received: 2 March 2018

Less than 3 months, which is pretty good given that it was over the holidays!

Thanks guys! I'm hoping for good news and have been (unsuccessfully) trying to get my package on Saturday. Once it arrives in Kansas, I'm going to see if they'll let me drive the .75 miles down the street and pick it up from the huge regional depot.

I just spoke with someone who seemed kind of knowledgeable on the subject - she said that since it is an international delivery, you cannot change certain aspects of the delivery, so things like Saturday pickup/delivery. I think that I'm just going to pick a two hour time frame and see if my boss will let me work from home in the morning on Monday.
