He would crawl up on your chest, put his paws around your neck and nuzzle up under your chin.....a fluffy kitty hug.

Super jealous!

Percy curled up on my belly as I was laid down watching TV, and I thought it was a miracle lol And that has been once in six years.

Yeah, some of them just don't like that sort of thing.

The older cat, I can wear like a scarf round my neck and she'll jump on my shoulder from a distance, although it's quite startling when you're not expecting a stealth leap!

The little ones, are really not keen at all on lying on me or being picked up. They like to be close, just not that close. I am working on them every day though.  :D

If you figure out how to train them to snuggle, share with me your ways.

Luna will cuddle the hell out of my mom. Like sit on her boobs and just face cuddle. But not me, and Percy is affectionate but not snuggly. Gives me a slight complex.  ::)

I hope you cat people can read this (a subscription to NY Times may be required  :( )

It seems that yoga with cats is now a thing. Some classes have cats that will fall asleep on people's chests.

Stress relief while waiting for the visa decision?!

I would 100% go to that class.

As I spend a great deal of time at home these days, I have to admit (slightly ashamed) to watching Big Brother.  I seriously think the house needs some pets.  A few cats and a couple of dogs.  A nice fish tank.  My husband pointed out that it would be cruelty to animals!

Oh, I did an article about this once. I would definitely recommend trying it once. It's really calming.

There are now so many of these kinds of classes. I tried a cat one. There's dog, mini goat, and even BUNNY ones. All the fluffy animals.

Though I tend to do pilates, and my cat chooses that time to cuddle anyway. Never any other time  ::)

I just want to join in on the crazy cat person party. I suffered so much stress (and expense) getting these two over to Scotland but I can't imagine life without them! They're my babies (except almost 8 years old now) and both mutts - although I think the girl is part-Abyssinian.

Haha, that'd get me too! I want to be the one they love the most!  ;D

I only wish I knew how to turn them into snugglers, my husband keeps saying,  "but we've done everything for those cats, where did we go wrong that they wont snuggle?" He's completely earnest, it's so funny.  ;D

Exactly! But I know Percy loves me cause as soon as I go to pet the other cat, he has to be the one being pet. He'll run under my hand just so Luna won't get pet

That's hilarious  :D

I am loving all these cat pictures!

Meet my lovelies:
To begin, we have the aforementioned Siamese, Hermione, lording it over the lesser mortals.  She absolutely adores my husband.  They talk on Skype.

This is my beautiful Clara (after Clara Barton).  I had to find a flattering picture of her so that you all would think she's pretty.  She might be part Abyssinian, not that this picture shows that.  I adore her but everyone else finds her too annoying.

This majestic beast is Sampson (Sammie).  He was the first animal we got when we moved to the farm.  He is literally afraid of everything on the planet.

And this beauty is Delilah, one of Clara's kittens.

We currently have four.  Before my parents moved, two were inside and two were outside.  Now three are inside and one decides on the day.  The most we've had at any one time was nine.  My cat also had kittens and they were the most adorable things, so teeny!  We also had four goats, 40 chickens, a rabbit, and three dogs on the farm at any one time.  It was a bit of a zoo.

Goodness do I miss them.  I would give anything for kitty cuddles right about now, and I am not even waiting for a visa.
