Anyone else feel like today is a fake Monday? All the annoyance of a workday for me in the US but no further business days added to my counter!

Hopefully the ECOs will be well-rested from the weekend and ready to get to work this week :)
Yesterday was rough! It was like torture being at work knowing it didn't count as a business day. You're 2 days ahead of me so I'm hoping we both get ours this week as a nice little post bank holiday present :)

OK, I just got an email from DHL that a package from Croydon UK Visas is being delivered to me here in Germany tomorrow. I haven't had any other information and on my TLS visa application tracking page, it still says no decision has been made. Now I'm sick. I hope they aren't just sending everything back without a decision?

WoW!!!  So exciting. I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

Everything depends on the backlog building up now.  About 70% of applications from the USA are priority.  So those applications will keep being processed ahead of non-priority applications.  Each summer, we see non-priority stretch to 4-6 months.  All depends on how many priority applications pour in, pushing non-priority further back.

It sucks.  But UKVI cares more about money than people.

In the autumn, when those stuck in the summer backlog, start to have their applications processed, they will crank through EVERYONE in a matter of a couple of weeks.  But during end of June/July/August, non-priority will be near stagnant.  Happens every year.

Those of you already in the queue, should be okay with your timelines.  All depends on when we start to see the slow for summer.  Any applications being submitted from May onwards, will likely not see a decision until September/October/November.

Well that sucks.. I really hope we are going to be ok. We are at day 43... Any chance of them doing it early?😆 cursing myself for not choosing priority. Why didn't I choose priority!!!??? Ahhhh

Some days I think the same thing but then remembered that when I applied I didn't need to be in the UK immediatly and February had historically fast processing times. Well..guess not this year! For now we just get to suffer through this together just finished day 51 so I'll hope for an "early" decision for us both!

Of course it could be done earlier.  And I suspect that you guys will all hear within 60 days.  Those applying late March/April will likely be 4ish months.  It'll stretch from there.  If last year is anything to go by.

I get the same.

If it helps, the statistics are so cooked that they are absolutely meaningless (priority and non-priority are combined, non-straight-forward emailed cases are removed from the numbers, and everything will be for applications submitted in Feb time frame).

Thanks – that's rubbish they do that! I managed to view it and its still just March timeframes.

Woo hoo! Hopefully you get your passport on Friday. The tracking info should update tonight if you used the VFS labels. :)

Thanks! I’ve been obsessively checking the ups tracking so maybe I should try to hold off until the evening :)

I really hope it comes Friday! If it doesn’t it will be a long weekend and on Monday I’m graduating so I wouldn’t be able to sign for it. People weren’t kidding that getting the email is one of the hardest parts!

Some people have been able to have it held at the UPS depot in their town. It could be worth a call if its not there on Friday. They just dump the package even though VFS says its signed delivery, its not. But with such vital documents I wouldn't want to miss it! (they dumped mine on my neighbors porch, and I hadnt even met them yet because they just moved in!)

Congrats on graduating :)
