Non-priority Spousal Visa Timeline

I was hoping for a Saturday delivery but the package has only just left Kentucky...ah well. Looks like Monday is going to be a big day for many of us!( moving, getting packages back) Hope this weekend goes quickly for all!!

Mine has made it to Portland and I am up in Seattle..so close yet so far! I guess Monday will be a big day for many of us

Monday can’t come soon enough. My family won’t stop talking about the royal wedding. My ears are bleeding. Help me!!!

My package has been saying Departure scan from "Louiseville Kentucky" since 6am this morning. No updates since then 😔😕
During the week, I am so busy with work that time goes fast but now its the weekend my thoughts are racing.... I've read horror stories that, one mistake, you get denied. What happens if we made a stupid mistake or didnt add enough in and they denied us? My husband and I are living in states but have invested in moving and it would be such a shock to us if it turned out we had to stay. Argh hurry up Monday (if I even get it Monday haha)

Does sound like Monday will be a big day for a lot of us!  Mine arrives Monday but I had to have it sent to my dad in Colorado because VFS doesn't have a listing for St. Thomas US Virgin Islands.  Crazy trying to figure out how to get it there and to get it back.  I'll have my dad open it up and tell me and then UPS it to the UPS office on the island for me to go and pick up.  The local UPS office couldn't even let me buy a return label.

Surprisingly well (now that royal wedding craze has subsided somewhat)! Tomorrow will probably be the tough day for me because I’ll be at work when the package arrives and won’t get home until around 8pm. Will skype my husband to open it together He’s tentatively taken off work all next week for us to spend time together. Really looking forward to that! Crossing my fingers! 🤞🤞

I know exactly what you mean. The last couple days of waiting were THE worst. Every possible scenario went through my head and I had a list of about 10 reasons why we were going to be denied. In the end, we were approved and I’m sure you will be too. I know that doesn’t really help but everything will be fine.

If all goes well, I’m planning on leaving this coming Sunday. Gives me time to tie up loose ends. I just hope the U.K. weather stays so beautiful! How about yourself?

According to others, for a spouse visa, if it’s an approval, there will be a letter and the vignette inserted onto one of your passport pages. If it’s a refusal, there will just be a letter.

Can't sleep! Been up since 3am  Going to see if I can pick it up from ups on my way to work. I can't wait a whole day!!
