Yes!! My application was collected from Sheffield at 15:34. Fingers crossed it's a yes. It's going to be a long weekend I'm afraid  :o

Today is BD 57

Weekend decisions are the most painful because time seems like it's suddenly slowed down from 90 mph to 5 mph! Keeping fingers crossed and good luck!

Still no decision made email, at BD 58ish. All you priority application people keep throwing me off and making me worried lol. And reminding me I should've done priority *cringe*

Leaving CA next Thurs to stay with mom in TX for a few weeks before flying to Paris ... still haven't booked our flights yet though because waiting for visa response. I guess I might as well change the UPS destination since they haven't sent out yet ... :/ *sigh* brutal.

Unfortunately there is no way for you to change the address on the return package. I had to wait until the package started moving to have it held at a UPS depot for pick up because the return label had our apartment’s old address that we had given up. Since we didn’t expect the visa process (non priority) to take 70 BD for our first application.

Oh wow. I talked to two different representatives from UPS and they said only the issuer of the label could alter the return address, so I paid £5 to email the home office to ask to change it. They replied that they will try but no confirmation it has been changed yet ... I was surprised they replied within 24 hours to me on a bank holiday!

That’s because you emailed a third party private company not based in the UK.  No bank holiday for them.   ;)

Well, it was a refusal. I'm beyond devastated. There were some financial discrepancies between my husband's payslip and the amount that went in to his bank account bc of a payroll error. Our lawyer said it wouldn't be a problem bc he would sort it out but apparently not. I'm just completely emotionally destroyed  :\\\'(

Oh no!!!

Please start another thread and post the refusal in it's entirety.  We can help you figure this out and get a successful reapplication.

I hate lawyers.  I really do.  Push for a refund of his services if he misled you.

I am so, so sorry SoonInDevon, I wish you had found us before you applied.  But as KFD said, just post the full details in another thread and we'll get you sorted.
