Brenna, I completely understand the freak out. I keep thinking of "what if I didn't include the correct correspondence evidence? What if I didn't include x...."

Can your husband get to the house in UK to be there for the shipments arrival?

Yeah we have a plan B in place where  my husband will arrive before  my Sense and me. Praying I don't have to do a flight with a six-year-old and a one-year-old on my own! Oh yeah, and we're bringing our 90 pound dog as well!  Good luck to you!!!

Oooooo my goodness. I'm glad you have the backup plan. And again, I've never been more thankful that it's just me and my husband. I can't imagine flying with one kid let alone two and worrying about my dog.

Congrats! I'm so happy that you've heard back and am hoping for a positive result.

Out of curiosity, what time (US or UK) did you get your email? It's been really random lately when I had been seeing for a long time that people were getting the emails in the early morning.

Music to my ears. I think I knew this but I'm so stressed out thinking the worst could happen and we just signed a lease on a house in the U.K. And our $4,000 shipment leaves August 1st! Am I so dumb to have made all these plans without visa in hand?  :-X

Are they letting you ship without the visa? My partner has been told they can't ship without her passport and visa, and so we're now having to pay storage until the visa. The timescales on everything are absurd. It takes months for belongings to be shipped and most rental and work contracts need significant notice periods and A LOT longer than the three to four weeks UKVI generously give people after a wait randomly ranging from 11-80 odd business days! You are certainly not dumb to make plans! The UKVI system and its nonsensical  advice to plan nothing, that is what is off the wall!

I agree! No they did not need my visa or passport, the shipment is in my husband's name. We just needed to request for ToR and get URN which just came so we are in business there. We DO however need my visa for the lease on the house we just got in York! They have agreed to let my husband be the sole name on lease until we get my visa and then we will add me. It's all so ridiculous and asinine!!!!!!

I totally get it. It definitely makes sense. It's just the timing of everything is so difficult and I feel like my life is a tornado and everything's up in the air and I'm just waiting to see where all the pieces were glad when the storm subsides.

I understand, it must be hugely unsettling for you. You'll get there though!  :)

I truly don't know if I could consider AmericanMom's application as a Non-Priority. 34 days is extremely quick (15 Business Days shorter than the quickest NP) especially considering the trend of the other NP applicants.

I would think it's more likely that her retroactive upgrade was honoured. If you consider her as a NP, that seems to skew the NP average. Like if we considered marenleigh's wait as indicative of the "average" even though her visa application had been lost and found afterwards.

Edit: I understand including her for transparency's sake, but I think it unlikely that she was NP as her wait is closer to a Priority applicants wait than the NP.

OH! Idea! Maybe include the NP list, BUT THEN BELOW: Have a list of people who elected to Upgrade Retroactively. Then it's all in one place, but the retroactives aren't thrown in with the NPs but they're all on the same post.
