Yeah I went on the vfs website and went to track my order it's on the bottom of the paige after you login. I paid the $738 on top of the other $227.

I attached the receipt an email to VisaSheffield@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk and sent it away. My husband send a physical copy to Sheffield from Glasgow and wrote PRIORITY on the front of the envelope. I got an automated email immediately saying they received my email blah blah. That was this past sunday and I haven't heard anything else...I'm at business day 35 so hoping to hear something early August...good luck!!

I'd imagine you'll hear something much sooner given the other posts about retroactive priority upgrades. Looks like there has been a range but nothing longer than 40BD I don't think? I bet you will get a decision email any day! Good luck.

That would certainly be amazing if that we're the case...however I did get rejected a Marriage Visa last year so it might take a bit longer...hoping not though!!

Right now, people are hearing back anywhere from 49 - 56 BD.

I had a rejected FLR(M) earlier this year and heard back at 53 BD, which I totally expected would take more time. SO there's hope for you to hear back earlier than you expect!

Ugh - when did you apply? It's such a distressing process, especially when you're waiting longer with no explanation, no communication at all.

There could be loads of reasons why your visa is taking so long. Since I've been on here, there have been a couple people who were waiting over the 60-day mark.

I'd definitely be getting your MP involved and emailing/calling them/tweeting at them. (I say Twitter cause my MP actually has one and listed it)

I'm sorry that your app is taking so long :( I'm hoping for you

Follow up!

I picked up my application from my UPS centre and opened it with my mom literally holding my hand.

And I got accepted!

I've been crying and twitching in so much happiness. I had such a terrible day yesterday, and this was the perfect pick me up.

I'm spending the next couple days packing up and searching for flights.

A big thanks to all the fantastic forum people for advice and generally keeping me slightly more sane than I normally am <3

There always seems to be someone who is waiting much longer than everyone else at any given period in time. It's really unfortunate.

How have you been getting on  with contacting your MP? Some are better than others, you may need to be persistent but it is your best shot at getting things moving.
Forget the call line, they will not help you.

Please let us know how it's going.  :)
