And I got accepted!

I've been crying and twitching in so much happiness. I had such a terrible day yesterday, and this was the perfect pick me up.

I'm spending the next couple days packing up and searching for flights.

A big thanks to all the fantastic forum people for advice and generally keeping me slightly more sane than I normally am <3

Biometrics 5th May 2017
App tracked and received Sheffiled 10th May 2017
Email confirming receipt (of online application) 25th May 2017
Email asking for passport, appendix 2 etc (which has all been sent) 30th May 2017 (Discovered solicitor may have advised to send to wrong processing centre address - letters, and phone calls - still unclear).
Confirmed receipt of docs 17th July
Return label requested and emailed 17th July
Decision email 26th July
Visa 28th July

In case anyone is curious, at day 53 they finally asked me to pay my son's IHS charge, lol

Yep - the IHS is refunded if the visa is refused, so they wouldn't ask you to pay it if they were just going to refuse the visa and refund it :).

Whoo! I can finally start the actual wait and join a timeline! It's looking like I shouldn't think to much about it til the last two weeks of September? I know in the priority timeline they have a consolidated list of people and dates, is there one here as well (I haven't gone through all the pages of thread)?

How have you been getting on  with contacting your MP? Some are better than others, you may need to be persistent but it is your best shot at getting things moving.
Forget the call line, they will not help you.

We have started trying to get in touch with our MP yesterday and will be trying every day until we do. My Mum actually knows him, so hoping that will help with spurring him on to help me.
