UPS Tracking

hi all!

So the decision email came today (yippee!) at about 4.30pm Uk time. And right after we received another email from Sheffiled saying:

  'you should have already received confirming that your documents have been dispatched, please find your courier tracking details below'

But we haven't had confirmation they have been dispatched and the tracking hasn't changed? It's now the end of the business day. How long do it usually take for UPS tracking to update? Does this mean the documents haven't actually been dispatched yet?

my tracking updated at about 5:30 or 6 I think? it was much later in the day but it got out same day!

Thank you!! Phew! That makes me feel better!

We've been looking since we sent the application off!! haha but I am more nervous than ever about the prospect of a rejection, so I'm trying not too get too excited and wait to plan things until he has the visa in hand (I say this as I google flights and mini holidays for when he gets here).

Ah, well as long as it's normal then I feel better! I heard that someone's documents were lost recently and I'm being overly obsessive about it. I shall wait and see I guess!

I was just thinking the same thing! I got my email today and my shipping hasn't changed either! Yippee! I'm so excited to get mine back.

Woo! they're coming in thick and fast! I hope they've already dispatched the documents and it's just UPS being slow on updating!

Mine still has not changed. I know I should just ignore it, and be patient but I can't help but worry.

I remember my tracking number hadn't moved at all when I got the email, but it had a pickup scan I think around 5.30 or 6.  I suppose Sheffield has a pickup at the end of the business day, or maybe someone drops them off at a UPS dropoff point after leaving the office.  Either way, I suspect they send the decision email as soon as they have actually made a decision, but then it takes some time to package everything up to send back, which would explain why some people have it sent the day of and some the day after.

Yeah, that's what I originally thought but it's been 24 hours. I just have to remind myself to be patient, but it's so hard when I know my passport is sitting somewhere with a decision in it.

About 30 mins ago we got a text message from DHL saying a package is on its way.  We looked it up and it is coming from Sheffield.  We have not yet had the 'Decision Has Been Made' email from the Home Office.  It it common to get the courier message before the email?
