My husband doesn't believe me that the second we clean, the cob webs just keep coming back twofold within a day! He thinks I'm exaggerating! Glad to know other people are seeing this issue as well! lol

I think every flat in the UK has spiders, it's just normal.  I would think twice about leaving a place you like because of spiders when there's likely to be just as many in the next place you move to.

I'm not sure *all* flats have spiders... I absolutely loathe them, but thankfully I only see maybe 3 or 4 in a year.  And I am a terrible house-keeper!  Maybe it's because we live in the town centre, so just concrete & tarmac everywhere, rather than grass and plants?

Maybe they can't take the Scottish climate.  I would believe that some parts of the country are colder and less insect friendly.

I also think housekeeping standards make no difference.  Nits love clean hair .

Lack of plants nearby could be it.  We recently moved from a third floor to a first floor and some trees are level with our flat.  I've noticed a few more here than in the old place. Of course the old place was a lot darker so perhaps I just didn't notice them as frequently!

We most def live in a spider den we can't use any of our storage spaces outside and inside because swarmed with spiders all over hundreds we call them the spider closets and they are in all the cabinets it's so terrible I can't wait to move I'm sure the next place won't have spider closets like this! I'm always on the lookout for spiders now it's giving me spider fear only a few more months 🙈

Holy Cow!  I'd suggest you move and burn the place down as you leave!

Seriously, that sounds unusual.

Somebody that works in another team but sits across from me at work brought in his Samsung VR headset to play with...he had a new "game" downloaded which was a "face your fears" theme....One room was spiders....You can imagine how that one went down.........lol
