Just told him! He said that was a lovely idea and he'd put one out now (on the roof bit that covers part of our patio because it's out of the way of the dog who scares the birds off LOL)

I have a baby seagull in the garden at the moment and he's big but he just hasn't figured things out yet. I put a washing up bowl out there for him. He's having great fun with it!  ;D

Baby/juvenile gulls are so funny!  Like you said, they're big, but still trying to work it all out.  Silly sausages... there was one on the pavement just walking about and stopping to stretch his wings every once in a while.  I threw some food out to him, but he just looked perplexed and didn't take it... he probably still thinks that all food comes from his mum, and hasn't yet made any other connection re how to get food.
