If you keep making excuses for the advice that is given to you - then why bother asking in the first place?
There is plenty of good advice in this thread - whether or not you choose to take it is completely up to you.
Yes, some of the advice is very good. I believe I said it was. My post was a response to Kristi, who made a factual mistake.
Kristi referred to my fiance losing money every month. Because of this, I assumed she thought he was getting foreign checks every month; that is, the checks were coming from my fiance's regular job. That is incorrect, but I understand how Kristi could have made that error. No big deal. So I provided the correct information.
If my fiance were getting paid in foreign money with every paycheck, it would make perfect sense for him to use a bank that is used to handling foreign money. But he doesn't; the organization he works for is in the UK.
Perhaps you should read all the posts in a thread carefully before commenting on it. If you read an individual post out of context, you're not going to understand what the poster is really saying. That is, if you care what the poster is really saying.
If I have misinterpreted Kristi's post, then I apologize to her.
