... my then girlfriend, now wife, and mother to our lovely three children came from Virginia to live here in the UK. Adjusting to life in a new country is never easy, but it seems that there is something particularly tricky about moving to a country that shares a common language, but is so different in many ways. Good luck to all you Americans living here in the UK. Us Brits may take some getting used to, but hang on in there - it's a wonderful country and a great place to live!
