You should go to Germany for a couple of weeks, I find it takes a couple of weeks of being in France and I begin to be able to understand some basics again.

Feels like the odds for hearing today are dwindling. Not a parody, but I currently have Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop (Thinking About Tomorrow)" on repeat.

Today's triathlon training: swim followed by yoga. Did yoga with my wife on what's app - that's a first for us this last couple of years of long distance.

It's all helping a bit but this is just tough!

I agree! We were just saying today that it feels like we entered a new chapter of waiting in the last week or so - hoping that the answer is close at hand is exciting, but is also making us less and less patient, to the point that it all feels like a big ridiculous joke. We've been long distance since November (which I know is not long compared to some folks - we've been lucky!), and in the first season it was really hard because it was a new dynamic to get used to, then in the middle it got easier because we got used to it and built our routines around it, but now that it feels soooooooo close to being behind us, it's definitely worse again.  We're just ready to be married in the same time zone and not at the mercy of crappy wifi.
