Thought I would add my timeline up to this point in the waiting process.

Application in post 4 December
Signed for 5 December
Payment taken 8 December
Biometrics letter received and Biometrics taken 16 December

Update to my original timeline to hopefully help those still waiting.

Received Approval letter and original documents 19 January
BRP card received 22 January.

A note to anyone worried about missing the delivery to sign for packages or letter I used my work address on the pre-paid envelope I sent with original application.  I missed the BRP delivery on Friday. When I called to schedule redelivery and found out they don't deliver on Weekends, I told them that we both work during the week and they asked if I would like it delivered to my work address. Very helpful and meant I didn't have to take a day off work.

Thank you to everyone who helped me in this process, you definitely made it less stressful.

I know right. I decided to take a bit of a gamble and got my plane tickets to go home. Hopefully they don't make me regret that! It's two weeks out so I should have it by then unless it gets lost. EEK.

If you call Dx and give them your postcode, they'll tell you if they have a delivery for you and when it'll be delivered.  The day at least.  You can pay a small fee for a shorter delivery window if you want.

I'm sure you are safe with your flights.  Enjoy your trip!

I may be being dense (my brain is overloaded with plans and excitement ATM)--- but what is Dx?
