I participated in that Secret Santa exchange and IIRC got a really good gift that year. I do NOT remember who threw the wobbly. I wish I did! Though it was probably cleaned up before I got there, I miss all the good scraps >:(

UKY Secret Santa used to be good fun, I'd be down for resurrecting it.

That tape dispenser is awesome.

Last year in the work's one I got a Canadian Flag. LOL!

Someone got me a toy 'Hannah Montana' guitar one year.  Had a wee laugh for about 10 minutes at least.

Yes, I am an impartial moderator and also because there are folks who still post on here who may have been the gift giver and I don't want to bring up any ill feelings.

I did always get amazing UKY gifts when we did the exchange though.    Since we are a nice and polite bunch now, I'd say we could try a new one this year!?!?!

I'm up for trying a new one this year :). It's the first time in 3 years I'm actually in the country for Christmas :).

May I add my name to the list?

My friends from back home (Florida) and I did this for the first two years I was here in the UK. They kept sending me American stuff and I sent back British stuff (candy mostly!). It did get expensive though.

I got incredibly lucky and KFDANCER was next on the list and I was going to her house.  I got the box on Saturday night and got rid of it on Saturday afternoon.  Result.

Here's my choices


The drink is proper kool aid already made by my boy.  The girl will make  use of prints.  All the cat stuff went back in the box.  It's starting to look like the bottom of the purse from a lady who has 24 cats
