I have since learned the dog food is for the inlaws...  why it's at my house, I do not know!

Jimbo, I would like a very fluffy black cat.  Preferably a male (usually cuddlier).  Or an orange striped cat.  Or any cat.

I'm afraid you are going to get the slowest cat as none of them would voluntarily climb inside the box.  None seem particularly keen to approach the American with a butterfly net either.

Try telling them you're Canadian.  :)

Don't be silly, cats can't understand what you say.

I'll try to communicate this fact to them through the medium of interpretive dance.

Silly! Just set the box out open and the cats will fight over who gets to sit in it!

So feeling a lot of pressure to get pics up because the box is about to arrive for the second time and I hadn't done it yet!  This is what I chose!  :D

The little box is a piece of art and I *love* it! I think JFkimberly might have had something to do with that? Thank you sooo much!  ;D

And the first cat that Jim sent with the candy corn attached is settling in just great! Thank you Jim!  ;D

That box is really cool! And your cat is beautiful. I have a black cat too.

Your cat looks so cuddly and soft!  Nice catch, jimbo!  ;)

Aww, shucks.  Yes, I made the box.  I am glad you like it.   :D  I owe credit to my husband for suggesting the design of the round finger hole grabby bit in the lid, as well as engraving "UK Yankee" inside... he thought it would make it more meaningful for someone in our happy little group.

Edited to add:  In case anybody is curious, the base is oak, the lid is mahogany, and it is finished with several coats of Danish oil.

Love it!  ;D. It's beautiful and so tactile too! And I actually feel quite honoured to have a piece of your work.

It totally does!  ;D

I was just going to ask you this! Thank you!
