Are you going to be gone for six months?!?   ;D ;D ;D
LMAO.  No but "just in time" is a relative term for us procrastinators.

And I'll be back from North Carolina just in time for my turn!

I was about to say "Lucky KF!"  Then I saw:

Are you going to be gone for six months?!?   ;D ;D ;D

... and I snort-laughed. Nice.

LMAO.  No but "just in time" is a relative term for us procrastinators.

Amen!

Yes they've been made, and pictures taken! I will try to get the parcel in the post next week. I wanted to do it last week, but the weather did not cooperate!

I’m delighted to report that the parcel is FINALLY on its way! I’ve had a heck of a week, but managed a quick run to the post office. @JennyEye you should have it by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. I am less delighted to report that I didn’t manage to reduce the size or weight of the box. Someone will have to choose a heavy bulky thing soon!

Theses were my selections:

I took the chocolate pudding because when I saw it in the box I was gripped by a sudden compulsion to make a chocolate pie.

As you can see it didn’t set up completely—I think I made the pudding with too much milk. I also added some vanilla, sea salt, and bourbon to the pudding. My husband LOVED it and was sad to hear we couldn’t have it again because we don’t have any more Jell-o!

Ahhh!  Is your crust as awesome as it looks?!  I bet it was amazing!

Is the topping a meringue?  Please say yes.  Gawd, now I want that.

My current inability to bake a crust is why I skipped over anything to do with baking.  There were other things that I didn't take for the same reason.

Thank you for posting photos of the finished product. That made my evening.  Now I want to make a set chocolate custard with bourbon and sea salt in it and topped with meringue.  This has inspired me.

Darn it!! I would have loved both of them. I cannot wait to see what goodies are there for me to choose from. I know one of the things I put in has already been chosen. So excited!!

You can order jello pudding from online, it's a little pricey but on occasion might seriously be worth it!!
