Confession time - I think roundabouts are the most amazing concept and MUCH prefer them to traffic lights!!!!

A good instructor will show you how to use them properly and (hopefully) change your opinion on them. 

Would agree with your confession but that's probably because we have a fair few "rotaries" (LOL) back in MA so it wasn't much of an issue for me like it is for others with less experience with them.

And welcome back Sam! I had to drive in SW London on one of my previous trips and was so anxious, but it was better than the train to my husband's parents house. Good luck with your lessons and learning!

You want to join Pass the Parcel?  YES!  All you do is find the most recent copy of the list (larrabee just posted it, I think...?), add your name to the bottom, and PM your address to the person above you in the list.

When it's your turn take an item or four, put in a thing or three, and pass it on to the next person after you.  And, the best part, share photos of the things you get!  (And don't say what else was in the box, because the mystery is fun!)

Perfect!  Welcome to the game!  Oh, one of the rules I forgot to mention:  when you have the parcel, you are not to feel rushed, and you are not to apologize for how long it takes you to pass it along (it just makes the rest of us feel bad).  You are allowed to ease your conscience and explain how the cat fell asleep on your lap, or the dog ate the postman if you need to, but you are not to apologize!  Things happen. 

I have noticed that signups have slowed down, and most of us have had two turns.... so... I'm signing up for my third go.  Nobody judge me!  Instead, join me!  Sign up for round 3!

hahaha!  I am so glad I didn't have a very big appetite for most of my life... I wouldn't have realized that there was an unspoken "rule" against just taking the last piece.  Fortunately, I caught up with the social niceties before my appetite caught up with me.
