Yay!  (How's the finish holding up?  Is it still okay, or has the wood dried out?  I'm actually not very experienced with wax finish, and I've been worried that the thin walls of the dish might dry out and split.  :/ )

14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)

It all seems to be holding up okay? Will check tonight when I get home and confirm (just popping in quickly before heading back out so will try to remember)

Oh, I shouldn't have said anything!  You might never have noticed if it did split, but now you'll be looking!  :P  I was worried that something might already have happened, and you were just politely not mentioning it.  ;)

I genuinely probably still wouldn't notice as I don't even know what you mean by it splitting! hahaha

You would know what it was if you saw it! A crack appearing along the grain of the wood.  :)

Oh, geez... You were so ready to answer.  Is yours holding up okay?  I believe I did wipe-on poly finish on yours, which should be more moisture-proof.
