Pancakes with maple syrup! Buffalo wings. Another Buffalo specialty was Beef on Kimmelwick rolls, but I'm not sure if that's an American thing or adopted from somewhere else.
Was it called beef on weck, or something like that? And there would be, like, rock salt crystals (or something) on top of the roll? I think had that in Detroit, but I believe it was imported from somewhere my boyfriend-at-the-time had gone for work that afternoon.
Someone in a Facebook group just posted a picture of a block of provolone cheese they found at Lidl... what about those cheesesteak sandwiches with steak & onions (I'd leave those off of mine due to allergy), provolone, mayo, lettuce, and tomato. Or a traditional cheesesteak with cheez-whiz goo?
And, yes! Proper Buffalo wings with proper Buffalo wing sauce (made from Frank's!). To be fair, I have had proper Buffalo wings served to me here in the UK. I very nearly cried.
Tater tots! - I think I can do this. In our old house, we used to do "potatoes, eggs, and toast" for breakfast every weekend. It was Waffle House-style hashbrowns, fried eggs (over easy, because I have not mastered the fried egg), and buttered toast. But tater tots are just McDonald's style hashbrowns... I think I could accomplish it.
Crab rangoon! - Well, I have a great recipe for the wraps, so just need to make the filling
BBQ EVERYTHING! - YES!
Margaritas! - I should put someone else in charge of this, but I'm all for it!
BAGEL BITES! - I have never made a bagel... I understand it's an art. But once we master the bagel, we can put stuff on 'em and toast them
PIZZA ROLLS! - In my eggroll research, I saw passing mention of making pizza rolls by filling wonton/eggroll wrapper with pizza sauce, cheese, and finely chopped toppings and then deep-frying them... I will be trying it!
TOASTER STRUDELS! - Hmm... I can probably re-create the filled strudel thing, but they'd probably not be toaster-cooked ... hmm... But the icing drizzle I can do!
Okay, I need to stop now (starvation diet and all)
