Also.. My friends in the US used to celebrate Tequila Sunday. Every Sunday. Some lasted well over a year! It took until Danny Howells was playing in Buffalo for me to be able to drink tequila again after some rough college nights, and we had wayyy too much that night. But I still enjoy it in mixed drinks!

Yeah, beef on weck! It's a roll with rock salt and rye seeds, and freshly shaved roast beef w/ au jus.

Where did you find proper wings here? I know someone who owns a shop towards Liverpool and it made me laugh so hard when they gave me their Buffalo sauce recipe and it would've been weaker than the mild wings in Buffalo.

I go home next week for a couple days  and my requests for my mom we’re:

Real bbq
And a target trip

I miss a good tequila it was my liquor of choice. Here though ( rightfully so it’s all been crap ) people cringe when I ask for a shot of tequila ha.

I had a margarita at parrot bay, not sure if that’s a chain or not and it was the closest thing I had to a margarita since I’ve moved.

I go home next week for a couple days  and my requests for my mom we’re:

Proper hot wings
Real bbq
And a target trip

I think next week I may need to do wings. I'm gonna try to find a decent air fryer so I can have them nice n crispy (I also want to make my own veggie/potato crisps). They sell Frank's at Sainsbury's in large enough quantities for a batch of sauce so I'm content making my own. I do miss BBQ and target.

I buy franks at Sainsbury’s. Sometimes in summer Aldi has a brand of their own that’s decent. Sainsbury’s is the only local shop for me that carries anything American

Oh man... Spaghettios... I miss those so bad.  Tinned pasta over here is so gross!

My Sainsbury's doesn't carry the Haimisha dills anymore... No more unsweetened pickles for me. 🤪

I've just realised that either ksands or kfdancer offered to send me Benadryl tablets ages ago, but they would be in a baggie.. .....and they never arrived

So if anyone is popping to the us, I have an order of Benadryl pink tablets, and Neosporin (will pay for product and uk shipping before hand

We’re looking. I was fine about waiting to try for a baby until next year but my brain went into overdrive this week and I don’t know why! Husband wants to wait too which is fine but I’m no spring chicken and we can’t wait too long or it won’t happen.

I love the look of a British Shorthair but don’t know how I would do with the amount of hair everywhere  but ohhh they’re so sweet!

Come spend a weekend at my house.  It'll quell your desire for a baby for a bit.  Though you'll likely just leave and think, "I would do things soooooo differently."   

Jenny, you didn't get the benadryl in the baggie?     I wonder if the post office confiscated it?
