We’re looking. I was fine about waiting to try for a baby until next year but my brain went into overdrive this week and I don’t know why! Husband wants to wait too which is fine but I’m no spring chicken and we can’t wait too long or it won’t happen.

I love the look of a British Shorthair but don’t know how I would do with the amount of hair everywhere  ;D but ohhh they’re so sweet!

Yay! Good luck with both babies!  :D

My mom (and my MIL!) is defective.  If my mother came over, I'd still be doing the cooking.  Fortunately, my mother is not coming over, so I only have to cook for my husband and me.  And he does almost as much cooking as I do.

We were not raised by the same woman.  But MAN, my mom can order off a menu like it's her JOB!

My mother even fails at this.  We do not have the same taste for quality.  :P

8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!
14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)

I definitely try to! Mostly because I know they're in their 60's and won't be around forever and it will get to a point where I imagine it'll be even more difficult for them to make the trip over so want to be able to spend those few weeks we see each other a year as good as possible.....but by week 2 we're usually walking on eggshells hahaha (mainly because they stay with us the whole time).

It most certainly is.  ;D ;D

Oh, and never under-estimate 'the aged' - my folks did quite a bit of international travel in their 70s. Or was it 80s. I can't quite remember, as once you hit 50 it's all a blur anyway.

I’ve sent my address on! Sorry for the delay. It’s our town’s civic week and I was busy marching in a parade pushing a wheelbarrow full of compost and veg.
Everyday stuff.
Sept 2001 - June 2006: studied at the University of Glasgow and the University of Strathclyde
Aug 2010 - Dec 2010: in UK on holiday visa
Jan 2011: issued fiancée visa
July 2011: issued FLR(M)
March 2012: DD1
June 2013: issued ILR
November 2013: DD2
