Computer.

Well, I can’t believe what happened today, I’m still in shock I think....

I sat down to wait for my appointment as usual, my genius was one that remembered me and as it turns out, he was the one who replaced the lid last time, after they damaged it.
I was fairly quiet as I pretty much had nothing left to say except, I’m here again because it’s still not right.

The guy excused himself to read the notes which were by now copious. He came back 10 minutes  later, sat down in front of me and in as many words, apologised for my entire experience, admitted that they had made mistakes and handled it badly and offered to....REPLACE MY COMPUTER!!!!

You could have knocked me over with a feather!

Because I want the US keyboard again and they don’t hold stock in store, I’ll have to order again online but they took the computer back and gave me a refund to my credit card.

I feel such a sense of relief, I can’t tell you!

I am so glad they finally took ownership and resolved it for you! I hope the new one is problem free!!

Thank you margo!  . I really hope it is without issues, I would hate to have to take it in to them any time soon! I am convinced that they must have me down as some sort of techy munchausen syndrome by proxy weirdo!

YAY! That's great! I so much prefer a Mac computer.

My Surface Pro is okay and we got it for less than half price during Prime Day, so I can't complain.

Thanks lyonaria! Me too now I’ve had the experience. That was one of the more frustrating aspects of this whole deal because it meant I couldn’t even telll them to stick their Apple products!

What a tour of the world! 

Did you hear the one about the policeman who saw a guy standing on the street corner with 5 penguins?  He asked the guy what he was doing and the guy said he had found the penguins and was unsure what to do with them.  The policeman suggested he take them to the zoo.
The next day, the policeman sees the same guy with the same 5 penguins, so he asks the guy what happened.  The guy says "I took them to the zoo and we had such a good time we are going bowling today!"

It arrived on Friday! I opened the door just in time to see the UPS guy drop it from the rail that he'd been trying to balance it on, onto the ground!

I've spent all weekend worrying that something was going to be wrong with it but so far, so good!
I'm sure those boxes are designed to absorb greater impact than that right?!
