So it is candy and you add it to the apple juice as it warms?

I am going to have to do a trial run, aren't I.  Yum!

Sounds like JFKimberly puts the red hots in there and, as it heats, the sugar dissolves so you're left with the spiced flavour in the cider.

It is, indeed, candy.  This recipe is as good as any, I think. I mean, it's literally just the cider (juice?) and candies.  :)

But when I would do it, I do a slow heat and let it just sort of steep.  That's why I like the Crock Pot method.  A big batch, just warming in the background, for people to help themselves to throughout the day.  :)

Definitely have to do this!  Will order some from Amazon today.  May as well order the turkey hat while I am at it - and maybe a few other bits to decorate.

You will absolutely need to share pictures of the turkey hat. That is non-negotiable! hahaha

You know the way you can have an awful Christmas sweater day when everyone wears one - then there could be a turkey hat day.

You have to get into the spirit of things, don't you?

I embrace ugly christmas jumpers. We like to make sure we wear ours on a particular day before Christmas in our office. I think last year we did literally different jumpers every Friday or something hahhaa

My favourite is my "Drake - Hotline Bling" jumper. A work BFF and I have matching ones that were bought for us by a friend in another department. It's amazing! lol

Last Christmas I was wearing my nifty Christmas sweater which had a snowman on the front and included a scarf and nose that were 3d (you know what I mean - the nose stuck out and the scarf was free flowing) - and I was the only one wearing anything festive.  Of course, I was in a muslim country so I shouldn't have been surprised.  I got some smiles though (and probably lots of laughs behind my back).

Update:

Ordered the hot Cinnamon candy, some leaves and some pumpkins for table decoration, and a garland as well.  And I have ordered a headband with a turkey on it and the turkey is wearing a pilgrim hat - that covers all the bases!

Just to be clear, you ordered these, right?

I realize I didn't show you what they look like.  But you saw the recipe, so you must've got the right ones.  :)
