Third Eye Blind?
« on: September 22, 2017, 02:19:26 PM »
I’ve never heard of them but have been convinced to go see them next week.  Any good?  What should I listen to for preparation?

I used to listen to some of their songs about 10-15 years ago, but not so much now.

Their more well-known songs are:
- Semi-Charmed Life
- Never Let You Go
- Deep Inside Of You

Some others you may also have heard:
- How's It Going to Be
- Graduate

I saw them in the late 90's, but I have no recollection of the show being good or bad. All I remember is my then-girlfriend's sister having told her that she'd seen them and she said they were boring.

So there's a third-hand review from 20 years ago. That ought to help.

How were you convinced to see them ? What did they promise you?

I’ve got an American friend who told me this band changed his life and convinced me to go.  He’s a Trump voter so I’ve got to always double check him on matters of judgment.

Speaking of judgment, tomorrow I’m driving up to Norfolk in this beast

I’m dropping a friend’s daughter off at Uni with all her stuff.  My car is still in the garage after my last fender bender so this is my new courtesy car.

Clear the roads , 3 hours each way.

Bro, you handcuffed the hell out of the dude in the white Audi. He's gonna have to go in through the sun roof.

Surely you've heard one of their songs you just don't realise you have!

No way man.  He parked there after me.  He’s got plenty of room.

Hey kiss if death, good to have you back.  Sorry for implying (again) that you are a Juggaloo while you were gone.

I just listened to Ksand’s top three songs and I don’t immediately recognise.  They are a bite light and pop for my tastes.  Whatever , should be fun to get out and go to a show

Probably for the best.  It was an old thread about the Juggaloo march on Washington.

How did you miss Semi-Charmed Life in the late 90s? I couldn't walk into a mall, restaurant, or bar without hearing that song (even though it's totally about drugs). It's light and pop, but the lyrics are great.
