It is a fact that the shaped Reeses are indeed different than regular Reeses so therefore they do taste different.

I agree! I think the peanut butter is slightly different but I might be wrong. I love the easter egg shaped Reeces and I think the PB is slightly...smoother?

Speaking of peanut butter. I had a Peanut Butter Milk Stout last night over dinner. SO good! haha Recommend beer drinkers who like a good milk stout to give it a go. Not an overwhelming PB taste by any means but it's a very filling beer.

I don't even need to pick them!  Bags and bags of apples are given to me by a friend who's got a tree, and I've been making applesauce and adapted a banana bread recipe for apples, so I've been baking.  I probably will do it this weekend as well, as another large bag of apples was given to me on Wednesday.

Care to share the banana bread recipe??

I think for me to eat the most ideal diet for weight loss, I'd just need somebody else to meal prep for me. I'm rubbish at it and don't have the patience to even try lol

I think it has a higher ratio of powdered sugar to peanut butter than the cups. The recipe is definitely different though.

Honestly, I'm glad it wasn't just me...I was thinking it tasted different (agree it has to be a different ratio) but thought maybe it was just my mind playing tricks on me and it was exactly the same as other people seemed to think it was the same so I thought it must just be me...

Care to share the banana bread recipe??

It's a US recipe, and I've made it so often, I've got it in my head.. in fact, I've got some in the oven just now:

In one bowl:
2 cups mashed banana (or pumpkin or apple puree)
1 cup oil
4 eggs

In another bowl:
3.5 cups flour
3 cups sugar
1 t salt
1.5 t baking soda
1 t baking powder
cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger... whatever you like, to taste.  (total of maybe 4 teaspoons)

Mix the wet into the dry, pour into 3 lined loaf tins and bake for 1 hour at 150c.

Thanks! Will try this with both pumpkin and apple!! :)
